The skin and coat form the largest organ on your feline and canine companions, making up 10-15% of their total weight.  Subsequently, the condition of said coat is an easy indicator of your pet’s overall health.   A glossy, fluffy coat is a wondrous thing but if your pet’s coat is dry, flaky or shabby it can be an indicator of more serious issues.

In addition, your pet’s skin and coat plays an important role in immunity, thermoregulation, nutrient storage, hydration and overall protection of their insides, so it’s important to make sure you are keeping them in tip top shape.
